This is more than an Asian grocery store! It’s a whole experience over a couple of levels. There is a food court, restaurant, bakery, home goods store and coffee shop. It is very similar to H Mart but I find 88 Marketplace a little easier to navigate find what I am looking for. The bonus is there is lots of free parking and you are just a few minutes from Chinatown and all of the great stores and restaurants that area has to offer.

Exquisite place for people that value quality. The Wagu selection is cooked medium well , perfectly. I ordered a poached egg cured with sweet cream salted butter lightly fried in tallow. Brought my okra water with me. Such a delicious meal. Cool ambiance.

Lovely market, my happy place. Everything you could ever want and more. Fresh produce, sweets and snacks, frozen, dried pantry items, food vendors... lots of options for vegetarians for dining in, or boxed or frozen meals to take home.

This mall is cute. The 88 marketplace is inside Jefferson Square. It has much variety and it’s a huge place. The prices are fair but not cheapest. But the fact that you will find like 10 aisles of candy and chips and snacks is enough to come here. There are like 6 rows of just frozen dumplings. It’s on a second level after you go up an escalator. It has a seafood and meat section as well. If you want and need variety for pan Asian food you should come here. Free and massive parking lot which is hard to find in the city of Chicago. Has so much here and pan Asian food and restaurants. It's a place anyone should go to find all kids of goodies including slippers seafood candy cookies veges fruit bakery seaweed meat and plates and so much more. They have live seafood.

I came to this supermarket for the first time. The place is super big. There are a lot of things. It's just a little messy. Seafood is very fresh and there are many kinds. The meat department is also very fresh. There are many convenient parking spaces. There are also many small snacks. It will be a good choice to be around here later.

I found out this place through Instagram reels, and was not disappointed when I came to visit. The store felt very similar to malls in China, and everything was clean and organized. The food options here are particularly unique, with everything from claypot to dim sum to sushi. We tried food from the 312 Fish Market, the claypot stall, and the Northeastern Food Stall. The mala beef burrito (麻辣牛肉卷)was definitely the best bang for your buck, but the salmon don had some of the best quality fish I've tasted. The claypot rice got better with time (I enjoyed it more as leftovers than in the initial meal), and the greens were tender and perfect for balancing out the meal. We also stopped at the bakery stall, which offered a fresh selection of bakery classics in addition to some trendy items such as puddings, mousses, and souffle cakes. The cake was light and fluffy and the egg tarts had an excellent flaky pastry crust. I can't wait to come back and try more stalls! The boba shop downstairs also looked quite promising.

Great spot for grabbing any type of Asian ingredients. The building where this grocery store is located is very nice and modern. The bathrooms are decently clean but not the cleanest. The restaurants are nice as most of them have a very convenient way of ordering but when it's busy, it's busy. We ordered our food but didn't get a text that it was ready until 10 minutes later. Thankfully, I checked with the food vendor and it was made before we got the text. We did not try the hot pot on the first floor but the restaurants on the top floor were great! The food from all of the places are excellent choices of Chinese food. Can't go wrong with any of them as they all looked and smelled delicious. The products in the grocery parts are all very well organized. The meats, veggies, seafood and other products looked fresh. You'll be able to find all sorts of Asian snacks, coffee, tea, candy and much more here. We didn't have any trouble finding the same snacks that we have at our local asian grocery store. The parking lot is packed but there is a second lot not too far from the building. We came here on a Sunday afternoon and the first parking lot was full. The surrounding area is a bit sketchy so remember to lock your door. Other than that, nothing happened to our car. Overall, an excellent Asian store with amazing Chinese foods available.
